Kay is an experienced Chartered Legal Executive in the Residential Property Team.  She is Devon born and bred and worked for Kellock & Johnson in Newton Abbot for over 30 years, having run the branch office for 15 years, prior to joining Kitsons in April 2014.  She enjoys building and maintaining relationships with clients and has experience in a wide range of non-contentious legal services but is now concentrating on residential property.

Kay deals with the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, registered and unregistered, buy-to-let, remortgages and property transactions in probate matters.  She has an expertise in the transfer of holiday chalets and apartments; these include many properties in Cornwall where she is recommended by a holiday booking company and local agents.

Away from work, Kay enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She is a trustee of her local village hall and has been stage manager for Kingskerswell Pantomime since 2007 (Oh yes she has!).  In June she can be found helping out at the ‘Burgers for Charity’ stall at the annual Kingskerswell Summer Moon Beer Festival.  Her other interests include photography, music, following a wide range of sport, novelty cake decorating and reading anything from Dan Brown to Terry Pratchett.

“Excellent service; Kay was so understanding and helpful. I would have no hesitation in using her again."

"Kay explains the jargon; as first time buyers we weren't used to a lot of the language or the process, but Kay explained it all and we felt more confident about what was happening and that makes a huge difference!"

“This is the third time we have used Kitsons over the past 7 years in buying and selling property. This time it excelled in every way. Attention to detail, second to none. If a problem was found Kay always had a solution in hand. Many thanks.”

“Kay Faulkner was excellent in all areas - was understanding, quick and efficient when needed.  Plain English used and very friendly too.  I cannot praise her enough!”
