About Kay

Kay is an experienced Chartered Legal Executive in our Residential Property team.  She is Devon born and bred and before joining Kitsons she worked for the same practice in Newton Abbot for over 30 years, having run the branch office for 15 years.

Kay enjoys building and maintaining relationships with clients and is experienced in a wide range of non-contentious legal services, but now concentrates on residential property transactions of all types, including:

  • Sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, registered and unregistered,
  • Transfer of holiday chalets and apartments (including many properties in Cornwall where I am recommended by a holiday booking company and local agents)
  • Probate property matters.
  • Buy to let mortgages
  • Equity release mortgages

Kay is a trustee and treasurer of my local village hall and has been the Stage Manager for Kingskerswell Pantomime since 2007 (Oh yes she has!).  Kay also helps out at the ‘Burgers for Charity’ stall at the Kingskerswell Fete and Summer Moon Beer Festival and carries out other fund raising activities.

Her other interests include photography, music, following a wide range of sport, novelty cake decorating and reading anything from Dan Brown to Terry Pratchett, as well, of course, as spending time with her family and friends.

Accolades and professional bodies

What you have said about working with Kay...

I would like to thank you Kay as we bring this purchase to completion for your hard work and the professional service that Kitsons Solicitors have given.

Thank you for all of your help through our house purchase, we have found your services incredibly helpful and professional and the fact that you've always made time for us has been amazing throughout the (very long!) process.

Kay was excellent in all areas, she was understanding, quick and efficient when needed. Plain English used and very friendly too. I cannot praise her enough.
