Posted by on September 28th 2016 in Blog Posts

Kitsons had the great pleasure to thank two of our clients, Begbies Traynor and Armada Asset Finance Ltd with the opportunity to fly a Boeing 737-800 Simulator at the Virtual Jet Centre, Chudleigh. Andrew Pay and David Turner hosted Ian Walker, Jonathan Trembath and Agne Sinkeviciute of Begbies Traynor and Sarah Ainley of Armada Asset Finance. If you’ve not been able to experience this facility, it’s well worth a visit.

The morning started early. A little too early for the VJC Staff who had been expecting us a little later. But 6 keen, uninitiated airline pilots...

Feeling Pride in our City, as well as our County

Posted by on September 22nd 2016 in Blog Posts

I’ve been focusing on organisational culture lately and whilst thinking about this article it made me also think about our culture as a City. Fresh on the heels of a local football Derby where the manager has made the (obvious, it certainly reflects our flag?) comment that “Devon is Green and White” (often chanted from the Devonport End), it is really interesting that culture is a mix of things to the people who live not only in Plymouth, but in Devon. At the football match last weekend, the Exeter fans claimed that Devon is Red & White... again, a close...

On the 14th September we took part in the National Cycle To Work Day.

We at Kitsons strive to support healthy living and keeping the planet clean by reducing our carbon footprint. With this, our staff chose to cycle to and from work amongst the mist and the rain in support of the cause, in hope of making a difference.

Local law firm Kitsons raise over £3,000 for local charity Age UK Exeter

Posted by on August 15th 2016 in Blog Posts, Private Client

From time to time, local law firms will run a Wills for Charity scheme. This is where the solicitor does not charge for their time to write a simple Will. Instead of charging, the solicitor encourages the client to make a donation to Charity, in this case Age UK Exeter.

Kitsons Partner, Charlie Siegle, waived Will writing fees for 25 clients in April, instead encouraging clients to make a donation to Age UK Exeter.

Charity Director Martyn Rogers said "We are so grateful to Charlie and the team at the Exeter office. The money raised will make a huge difference and every...

Sarah Gillard and Zoe Mansfield, who work in our Private Client Department are specialist's in intestate estates.

Many people pass away without leaving a will and on occasions the deceased...
