Christmas and New Year Opening Hours

Please note our offices will close for Christmas from 12.00 noon on Wednesday 23rd December.

We will be open for business on Tuesday 29th December and Wednesday 30th December from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

Our offices will then be closed until Monday 4th January at 9.00am.

New South Devon Highway Opens To Traffic

Devon County Council and Torbay Council, along with Galliford Try, have announced that the South Devon Highway is now open to traffic.

The new 5.5km dual carriageway opened to traffic in the early hours of Tuesday morning (15/12/15) in a phased process.

After this phase, project staff, the traffic management team and members of Devon and Cornwall Police travelled at a slow speed along the route, removing cones and barriers. Public vehicles were able to follow immediately afterwards, using the much anticipated South Devon Highway.

Exeter Chiefs Players Hijack Sponsors Night

The Exeter Chiefs hosted the businesses, individuals and organisations who provide vital sponsorship for the Aviva Premiership Club.

And there was an unexpected twist when two of the players ousted from the stage head of corporate at the club, John Wood, to take over presenting duties.

Devon law firm Kitsons has teamed up with FORCE Cancer Charity to offer supporters the opportunity to make or update their Will, in return for a donation to the charity.

Through the scheme, for every new Will completed by the Private Client Team at Kitsons Solicitors in Exeter, the firm will donate a proportion of its fees for those Wills to FORCE.

Staff at Kitsons were delighted to present a cheque for $pound;5,128.32 to Diabetes UK

24 members of staff from leading Devon law firm Kitsons braved the elements and successfully overcame the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Their reward for completing what is known as one of the toughest challenges in the UK was raising more than £5,000 for Diabetes UK in memory of their colleague Mark Batten.

Rowcroft Sleep Walk 2015

Kitsons Solicitors are t-shirt sponsors for this years Rowcroft Sleep Walk, taking place on the 11th of July. Rowcroft Hospice specialise in cancer research, supporting not only cancer sufferers but their families too.

Five staff members; Hilary Conte, Judy Vaughan, Louise Evers, Amanda White and Janice Keightley will be trekking the 10 mile route in aid of the charity.

Kitsons staff to take on charity challenge in memory of colleague

Staff from leading Devon law firm Kitsons are getting ready to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this July to raise money for charity in honour of their friend and colleague, Mark Batten.

Mark, who was Chief Cashier at Kitsons, passed away suddenly in March 2014. He worked at Kitsons for over 35 years and was a prominent and well liked member of the firm. In 2013 when the firm took on the National Three Peaks Challenge, Mark acted as a volunteer driver from our head office in Torquay to Scotland and back.
