Vegas Or Bust - Day Four

Kitsons Plymouth Partner Matthew Bryant and team ‘4 Morris’ in a Merc’, on Day Four (One more day to go!) as they head towards Las Vegas, Spain, in aid of St Lukes Hospice Plymouth, for the Banger Rally Challenge.

Day Four (via Matthew Bryant):

Location: Somewhere in the mountains of Spain

"We are currently 1200m above sea level and it's 10pm, having left the campsite at 10am we were looking forward to a relatively easy day. By 10.15am a small bird hit the car, of which we gave a dignified send off in true Morris style.

Kitsons Plymouth Partner Matthew Bryant and team ‘4 Morris’ in a Merc’, on day three as they travel around 1700 miles in aid of St Lukes Hospice Plymouth, for the Banger Rally Challenge.

Day Three (via Matthew Bryant):

Location: 20km outside Pamplona, France

Distance Travelled: approx 856 miles

Distance To Go: approx 844 miles

"Set off at 8am today and arrived at Messanges at 7.30pm. Climbed a big dune and made fools of ourselves (again) at the top. Too tired to party but raised, from fellow ralliers, 20 jigging...then slept.

Messanges to Pamplona via Biarritz and San Sebastian. Hilarious day. Did a jig in...

Update from Kitsons Plymouth Partner Matthew Bryant and team ‘4 Morris’ in a Merc’, as they continue their 1700 miles in aid of St Lukes Hospice Plymouth and more, for the Banger Rally Challenge.

Day Two (via Matthew Bryant):

Location: La Rochelle, France

Distance Travelled: 425 miles

Distance To Go: 1275 miles

"Day 1 completed. Calm ferry crossing last night and 7am start this morning, with everyone in good spirits.

Me Morris, Morris and Morris did well in the challenges - highlight was probably the rendition of Dancing Queen - top marks for that one.

Plymouth Team Complete Alzheimer's Society, Memory Walk

Our Plymouth Office completed the Alzheimer's Society, Memory Walk today.

The walk starting at the Plymouth Hoe, took a scenic stretch along the seafront lapped the impressive Royal Citadel before heading along the South Coast Path to Royal William Yard, returning inland along picturesque streets. 

All in aid of the charity, our staff members worked hard to raise as much money as possible and are pleased to say have already raised twice their target amount.

Delight as Cash Secured for Buckland's New Multi-Wheeled Sports Facility

The Buckland Skatepark is set to be upgraded and revamped thanks to a £130,000 investment.

Teignbridge District Council and Newton Abbot Town Council have teamed up with local organisations to replace the existing Buckland Skatepark with the new facility. The announcement has been welcomed by the community of Buckland and Milber as well as its surrounding areas.

Young people in Teignbridge are now being encouraged to submit their designs for the new multi-purpose outdoor sports facility. Local law firm Kitsons raise over £3,000 for local charity Age UK Exeter

From time to time, local law firms will run a Wills for Charity scheme. This is where the solicitor does not charge for their time to write a simple Will. Instead of charging, the solicitor encourages the client to make a donation to Charity, in this case Age UK Exeter.

Kitsons Partner, Charlie Siegle, waived Will writing fees for 25 clients in April, instead encouraging clients to make a donation to Age UK Exeter.
