We celebrated another successful year in Exeter on Thursday 8th December, with our Christmas Drinks Evening, held at The Exeter Cookery School.

The night was a small gesture, as a thank you to our clients and referrers from around Exeter. The evening saw around 100 attendees attend, clinking their glasses and sampling the fantastic canapés put on by the Exeter Cookery School.

We were overwhelmed with the attendance and want to thank everyone who joined us, of which we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Kitsons Charity Christmas Quiz - in aid of CHAD at Jasmyn House

Last night we had our sixth Christmas quiz, which was held at The Palace Hotel in Torquay.

CHAD at Jasmyn House were the amazing charity that the quiz was in support of and we raised approximately £1000, which will help the visually impaired and the learning disabled.

CHAD at Jasmyn House are based in Paignton where they first opened their doors in 2013. This building is a community for many different disabled groups from all over the bay where they can meet for social gatherings, talks and discussions. There main pride and joy is their amazing and life changing technology...

Leading Devon law firm Kitsons has been praised in the South West chapters of the latest edition of Chambers UK - the most prestigious guide to the UK legal profession.

Fundraising For Breast Cancer Now

All of our offices dressed in pink yesterday to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. Some of our staff at the Torquay office had even baked up some amazing cakes and desserts all in pink for the fundrasing event!

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest Breast Cancer Charity, created by the merger of Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Kitsons Plymouth Partner Matthew Bryant and team ‘4 Morris’ in a Merc’, on Day Five, brush away yesterday's vehicle drama's and hit their last stretch to Las Vegas, Spain, in aid of St Lukes Hospice Plymouth, for the Banger Rally Challenge.

“Approximately just 100 miles north of Las Vegas, our final destination! Finally arrived at the campsite a few miles north of Valencia at 11.30pm last night - exhausted and hungry.

"We are currently 1200m above sea level and it's 10pm, having left the campsite at 10am we were looking forward to a relatively easy day. By 10.15am a small bird hit the car, of which we gave a dignified send off in true Morris style.

Location: 20km outside Pamplona, France

Distance Travelled: approx 856 miles

Distance To Go: approx 844 miles

"Set off at 8am today and arrived at Messanges at 7.30pm. Climbed a big dune and made fools of ourselves (again) at the top. Too tired to party but raised, from fellow ralliers, 20 jigging...then slept.

Messanges to Pamplona via Biarritz and San Sebastian. Hilarious day. Did a jig in...

Day Two (via Matthew Bryant):

Location: La Rochelle, France

Distance Travelled: 425 miles

Distance To Go: 1275 miles

"Day 1 completed. Calm ferry crossing last night and 7am start this morning, with everyone in good spirits.

Me Morris, Morris and Morris did well in the challenges - highlight was probably the rendition of Dancing Queen - top marks for that one.

Selling photo opportunities in the bar raised us a total...
