Vegas or Bust - Day Two

Posted on October 6th 2016 by

Update from Kitsons Plymouth Partner Matthew Bryant and team ‘4 Morris’ in a Merc’, as they continue their 1700 miles in aid of St Lukes Hospice Plymouth and more, for the Banger Rally Challenge.

Day Two (via Matthew Bryant):

Location: La Rochelle, France

Distance Travelled: 425 miles

Distance To Go: 1275 miles

"Day 1 completed. Calm ferry crossing last night and 7am start this morning, with everyone in good spirits.

Me Morris, Morris and Morris did well in the challenges - highlight was probably the rendition of Dancing Queen - top marks for that one.

Selling photo opportunities in the bar raised us a total of  €6.40 for charity.

Currently travelling well and the Green Flash is cruising along nicely. We had an impromptu Morris Dance at the Service Station, which drew in a small crowd - just a warm up gig.

Next stop Dune of Pilat, the highest sand dune in Europe. Then onto tonight's destination, Messanges in South West France.

Check back soon."
