Line Manager Training

This one day training session is conducted by Carolyn Giles, of Hardwick HR, together with Val Moulton of Alchemy.  It is suitable for Line Managers across all sectors.

The course splits into two distinct parts in order to cover both the interpersonal and emotional skillset required of Line Management and in conjunction with studying the legal framework within which Employers operate.  It will equip your Line Managers with the necessary skills of day to day management and assist them in developing their teams whilst dealing with common risk areas.

Topics covered include:

  • Management for Performance - processes and techniques for getting it right with others
  • Managing difficult situations, people and colleagues
  • Discrimination and how language can impact on others
  • Effective Communication
  • Managing Disciplinary situations
  • The Role of a Leader

  • The Challenge of Teamwork

  • Delegation

The course is suitable for up to 12 participants and costs £1,000 plus VAT.
