Our Corporate Responsibility

Kitsons Solicitors Corporate Responsibility

Each year the firm supports a variety of charities across Devon and encourages staff to get involved with fundraising and volunteering activities.

Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is core to all aspects of our operations, from the way we conduct our business to the ways in which we contribute to the Devon community.

At Kitsons, we know that business doesn’t always get done in the office and the benefits of team work. This is why we attend and create unique events for all of our staff to be a part of.

We support local clubs, such as Newton Abbot RFC to the Exeter Chiefs. We’ve even scaled Ben Nevis together in aid of Diabetes UK, driven to Spain for St Luke’s Hospice and cycled across Exeter for Hospiscare South West.

Being a part of Kitsons is more than just work; it’s a friendly, supportive environment.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Staff at Devon law firm Kitsons took to the hills and successfully completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of the British Heart Foundation and in memory of their friend and colleague, Mark Batten.

Three teams of walkers and one team of runners completed the 24 mile challenge in the soaring summer sun; which involved climbs and descents totalling 2,153 metres across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in Yorkshire.

The Rowcroft Sleep Walk

More than 1,500 ladies aged eight and over completed their choice of five or ten mile night walks in aid of Rowcroft Hospice, pledging to raise an amazing £101,705.

Rowcroft provide comfort, support and specialist services to patient’s and family member – be it at home, in the local community or at their inpatient unit in Torquay.

It’s always a pleasure to be a part of this great local charity and Kitsons are delighted to be the headline sponsor. All the funds raised go directly towards helping local families living with life-limiting illnesses make the most of every day they have together, sharing precious moments and making unforgettable memories.

St Luke’s Tour de Moor

After a brief hiatus the Tour de Moor was back for another year, attracting more than 1,400 participants!

The St Luke’s Hospice event saw cyclists take to Dartmoor to complete an adrenalin-packed, hill-filled, 52km mixed terrain route; a tough 30km ride over hills and through woods, or a more gentle 11km ride along the tarmac paths of Drake’s Trail.

The money raised from this event gives the team at St Luke’s the ability to support more families affected by terminal illness, providing not just expert medical care but emotional, practical and spiritual support that makes an important difference to them at such a vulnerable time.

What our customers say about us...
