Partner

Robert is a Partner in our Litigation department based in Exeter, and specialises in dispute resolution and professional negligence.

Robert trained with Everys in Exeter before becoming Equity Partner and Head of Litigation.  He opened and developed new offices in both Exmouth and Exeter, and enjoyed a short spell at Trowers & Hamlin as Dispute Resolution Partner before joining Kitsons in August 2011.

During Robert's 20 years in the profession he has dealt with many complex and high value matters including Catastrophic Injury claims, Hepatitis, Seroxat and North Wales Childrens Homes group litigation and a wide range of professional negligence, fraud and construction disputes.

Robert is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association, an accredited police station representative with extensive experience of commercial fraud cases. A member of the Law Societies Personal Injury Panel for 7 years and Commissioner Of Oaths to the Bishop of Exeter since 2004.

Robert lives in Exeter with his wife and two teenage daughters and enjoys playing cricket and golf, watching rugby and travelling.
