James specialises in commercial litigation, ranging from debt recovery to complex multi-party disputes and has signficant experience in acting on property litigation arising from both commercial and residential property.  James is a member of the Property Litigation Association and has handled a wide range of disputes relating to property for individuals as well as companies of all sizes. 

James is described in the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as "a tenacious litigator who can weigh up the strengths and weaknesses of any case.  He is also calm under fire and his tactical thinking is astute".
