Lucie is recognised in Chamber's Guide to the Legal Profession where she is acclaimed by her clients for her “excellent and authoritative advice” (Chambers & Partners 2010) and for being "approachable, immensely practical and able to engage with us in plain English" (Chambers & Partners 2011). She is also praised for her “practical, hands-on way of explaining things” (Chambers & Partners 2012).

Lucie studied at Exeter University. She joined Ashfords in 2002 (then Bevan Ashford) where she trained and qualified. She joined Kitsons in 2008 from Charles Russell LLP.

Since qualifying in 2004, Lucie has specialised in employment law. She advises a broad range of employers and her clients include owner-managed businesses, SME’s, large companies and charitable organisations. She advises on all aspects of employment law, including redundancy and restructuring, employment tribunal claims and business transfers. Lucie offers clients pragmatic HR support, and regularly drafts contracts of employment, service agreements, consultancy agreements, employment-related policies and compromise agreements. She also advises senior employees in connection with their compromise agreements.

Lucie is a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association.
